If you are reading this, I assume you care about more than just the price of a policy. You are likely wanting to know you have an experienced team that cares about you, at a competitive price. I have been with State Farm for 36 years and my office has over 80 years of combined experience. Please continue reading and I will briefly explain how I view our role for our customers.

My motto is to “Handle claims before they occur.” Claims can be simple, or they can be complex. So, it’s important for my office to anticipate the situations that can occur and try to guide our customers how to handle their insurance. No one knows what today will deliver.

We should protect the customer, not just the car. What if someone else is hurt and our customer owes more than their coverage? What if our customer is hurt and the other party doesn’t have enough coverage? These types of questions are important, but are frequently skipped when price is the only focus.

We should protect the home, not just the house. A house is a large asset, but Home envelops family, memories, safety, and security. I have never met a person who would want to lose their home. Houses can be damaged, but Homes can be lost when injury, sickness or premature death causes a change in income.

Isn’t it simple logic to anticipate all the possibilities? Whether it is a terrible car accident, a fire or a customer’s loss of income from injury or worse, we want to protect our customers from the unexpected.

Our mission is to help State Farm customers understand their insurance before something happens. We aim to be the first choice for the people in Mount Airy NC, Pilot Mountain NC, Dobson NC, Surry County and surrounding areas in Virginia.

I spent the first 13 years of my career in claims and claims management for State Farm. I learned early that if a customer finds out about their coverage during a claim, it can be a bad day for everyone. Thus, we focus very hard on making sure coverage is correct for the customer when we set up the policy or when I do a personal review. We offer personal reviews on a regular basis to try and ensure policies are updated and current.
